Image processing in MATLAB and analysis of digital images with the help of various algorithms for image enhancement, filtering, and segmentation. Noise reduction technqiue for the removal or reduction of unwanted elements or disturbances (noise) in an image.This was achieved by applying various filtering techniques that could help us in rendering cleaner and clearer images. On the other hand, image segmentation was used to partition the image into several segments, allowing us to simplify the image structure and to convert it into a more comprehensible format.
Segmentation is another important operation, where the image is divided into multiple segments or regions, usually based on characteristics such as color, intensity, or texture, to simplify the image or to change the representation of an image into something more meaningful and easier to analyze. Gamma correction was used to alter the brightness levels of an image. This process adjusts the tonal range of the image, usually by employing a power-law transformation function, and can enhance the details in the brighter or darker sections of the image.
