The design process began by sketching the basic outline and dimensions of the box in SolidWorks. The software's sketching tools enabled the creation of 2D profiles representing the different faces and features of the box. These sketches were then extruded or revolved to form the solid body of the box.
Once the 3D model of the box was created, SolidWorks facilitated the generation of detailed drawings. Drawing views, including front, top, side, and isometric views, were automatically created from the 3D model. Dimensions, annotations, and other necessary details were added to the drawing views to accurately represent the box design.
SolidWorks' annotation tools allowed for the placement of dimensions, tolerances, and text annotations on the drawing. This ensured that all necessary information about the box design, including measurements and manufacturing specifications, was clearly communicated.
